The Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program provides workers with qualifying employment and loan payments federal student debt forgiveness after 10 years or 120 monthly payments. All government employers and most nonprofit employers are eligible for PSLF. KBH is an eligible employer.
On Oct. 6, 2021, the U.S. Department of Education announced changes to PSLF program rules. For a limited time, borrowers may receive credit for past periods of repayment that would otherwise not qualify for PSLF. It is important to note that these waivers expire on Oct. 31, 2022.
You can find much more information here (Part 1) (Part 2) or on the K Drive by navigating to "K:\KBH Forms & AGENCY LOCATIONS LIST\HUMAN RESOURCES - incl Health Ins" then click on 0722pslf.pdf. You can also go to StudentAid.gov/pslf for the PSLF Self Help Tool.
Our CCBHC Baby is Growing!
Our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) project is about to turn 1 year old!
We’ve now enrolled more than 340 clients into various KBH programs under our new CCBHC process, and we’re excited about continuing to expand our CCBHC project as we head into our second year.
So what is a CCBHC? It’s not a program in and of itself. It’s a model for delivering services that is focused on meeting the needs of vulnerable populations. Our CCBHC grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Agency (SAMHSA) is helping us enhance our intake screening and provide 24/7 crisis support, offer clients new Care Coordination services through our Access Center and when they’re in treatment, invest in clinical training for our staff, build robust new features in our Neo medical record, and strengthen partnerships with providers and services in our community to better support our clients.
Below are both the general human resources and general KBH benefits email addresses. Both are monitored by the HR department. If you are in doubt which email to use, please use the general human resources email address and we will ensure your question arrives at the correct destination.
